There are a variety of advertising options on the YEI website –  free company listings, banner advertising on the home page and category pages, promo mailers, advertorials plus unique advertising packages.

Free company listing advertisement

• Click here to complete the online form.
• YEI will review the content and post it within 5 days, if approved.
• Alternatively, contact YEI to request the requirements for a free company listing advertisement.
• Your listing will be placed under the appropriate industry and location in the Discounts and Benefits section.

Banner advertising

Package for banners includes:

• Banner of your choice (subject to availability).
• Listing advertisement – 250 words + up to two images + link to company’s website.
• Banner to link to company website.
• Advertisement showcased on YEI Facebook page.
• Home-page banner advertisements only – logo to feature on YEI monthly e-Newsletter.
• All banner advertisers to receive twice-yearly communication from YEI.

Promo mailers

A special edition mid-month mailer sent to the full YEI membership on behalf of the company, highlighting a special event/product.

Advertorials in monthly YEI e-Newsletter

An advertorial is an advertisement designed to simulate editorial content, while at the same time offering valid information to your prospective clients.  The advertorial will be placed in the monthly YEI e-Newsletter, and will be housed on the YEI website.

Subscribers and impressions

• The YEI subscriber base has grown substantially within the 15 months we have been operating. New subscribers  register on YEI on a daily basis creating the expectation that the base will grow exponentially  over the next year.  As our membership increases on a daily basis, YEI recognizes the need to substantially and rapidly grow our advertiser base.

• The number of impressions on the YEI website is substantial and growing.  Our members visit the YEI website on multiple occasions, spending nearly 7 minutes at a time on the website.

What does YEI offer the potential advertiser?

• A platform where advertisers can present their business to South Africa’s burgeoning and sought after boomers, seniors and retirees.
• A YEI company listing at no charge – click here to complete the online registration, or email the information directly to YEI.
• Extremely reasonable and cost-effective banner advertising rates  (homepage and category pages) starting at R200 per month.
• Additional exposure on the YEI Facebook page and the monthly YEI e-Newsletter.
• Opportunities to further promote your product via advertorials in the YEI e-Newsletter, or promo mailers.
• A communication to advertisers, twice a year, updating them on YEI news, as well as website statistics and analysis.
